Development
The role of the development office for The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs is to cultivate relationships with the school's families and friends, as well as foundations, corporations and the Capital District community at large. WSSS relies on philanthropic giving to both maintain and expand the strong educational principals we have fostered for more than 25 years.
Through festivals, performances, lectures, and community service, we seek to inspire our community so they will help to provide sufficient resources to keep our school thriving.
WSSS is in the execution phase of creating an outdoor Learning Center and new playground at the York Avenue Lower School. We have been fortunate to receive grants from both the Alfred Z. Solomon Trust, as well as the Saratoga Springs Rotary for this effort. However, we are still working diligently to obtain funds for much needed restoration to the corresponding historic school building.
Tuition and fees account for approximately 93% of the total operating budget, with the remainder coming from fundraising, grants and gifts from our Annual Appeal. All parents, teachers and staff are asked to make a commitment of time, money, and creativity to the school in whatever way they can. There are a variety of ways to contribute and we welcome your involvement in any capacity!

Four Seasons Scrip
Four Seasons Natural Foods Scrip can be purchased from our Business Office at the High School - 122 Regent St. Scrip is available in $10, $20, & $50 amounts. 10% is donated to WSSS.

What if WSSS had a penny for every time you searched the Internet? Search the web with www.goodsearch.com and money from Yahoo advertisers will go to the Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs without you spending a dime! Have some shopping to do? Do it through GoodShop by GoodSearch and WSSS will receive a designated percentage of your purchase.
Target Corporation's Take Charge of Education
Visit Target online and apply for or register your existing Target Red Card and Target will donate 1% of your purchases to WSSS. While 1% may not seem like a lot, we have already received $5,058.64 since enrolling in this program.
Greenraising
Visit Greenraising online and select The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs as your affiliate. Purchase everything from SIGG bottles to alternative, environmentally sound cleaning products and Greenraising will send WSSS 25% of all sales.

Simply register your Price Chopper Advantage Card online and help our school earn free educational equipment.
