Parent Group
All members of the parent community are encouraged to participate in the Parent Group. During the summer of 2018 a core group of parents, faculty, administration, and board members worked on laying a foundation for a newly formed parent group. Since Covid-19, our Parent Group has been on pause, although our parents continue to support our school in important ways and we are grateful for all of their efforts. Check back during the 2021-2022 school year for developments.

The governance of a Waldorf school can be hard to figure out, especially for new parents. It often takes some time to figure out that the answer to the above question is “there really isn’t one.” Volunteering – either in the classroom or for school wide events and festivals – is by far the best way to become familiar with the ins and outs of WSSS.
