Jack Conway, grade 11, is headed to Guatemala again this year to bring stoves and supplies to a remote and impoverished region of Guatemala. Jack had a transformative experience last year when he volunteered with the Boca Costa Medical Mission on a service trip to a very remote Mayan region of Guatemala near Mazatenango. He worked with the building team to install a record 50 cook stoves in the homes of the poorest villagers. "This experience was both awesome and humbling for me. I am grateful to have been asked to to return with the group this March," said Jack. This year, the team has a goal of installing 75 stoves. Additionally a volunteer team of doctors and nurses will provide desperately needed health services to over 800 Mayan peoples. For those of you who want to join him in supporting these villagers (all monies go to purchasing stoves and medicine), please check out Jack's GoFundMe page.

Cordelia Padovan, 7th grade, guest stars as Alice in Wonderland in the "Curiouser and Curiouser" episode of the new Amazon TV series, "The Adventures of Snow White & Rose Red." Selected episodes of the new series will be featured in two special preview screenings on Saturday, February 10, at 10 AM and 4 PM at the Dance Museum in Saratoga Springs. Waldorf parent Nicole Coady (Cordelia's mom) is also involved in the project as producer, and Matt Beekman (dad to Juliet, Lillian and Ava in the lower school) is featured as Snow and Rose's father. More information on the production and the screening can be found here!
