We will be offering a Waldorf 101 Parent Education morning on Wednesday, March 28 from 8:30 to 9:45 at the Early Childhood Center at 212 Lake Ave. Astrea Ravenstar, current 8th grade teacher, will touch on the following topics and more:
-What are the essential elements of Waldorf Education?
-How play in the younger years transforms into flexible thinking and creativity
-The role of the class teacher and academics through the grades
-How the arts and movement in the curriculum support academic learning-Building independent and capable human beings
