Parents can access a tip sheet for managing stress here. The sheet was created by Dr. Amy Nitza, a parent at Mountain Laurel Waldorf School. She is the Director of the Institute for Disaster Mental Health at SUNY New Paltz. In addition to the tip sheet, Dr. Nitza and her team are working with UNICEF USA, the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and Girls Scouts of America, to develop some resources for teachers around dealing with the type of chronic, and possibly traumatic, stress that we are all under.
