Early Childhood Camp
Ages 3 - 6
Our Waldorf Early Childhood Summer Camp will follow a similar rhythm to the school year with a healthy balance of free play, indoor and outdoor time, dedicated craft and artistic projects, water play, rest, story, gardening, summer specific activities, and time in nature. Each week, the group will take afternoon field trips for nature walks and sprinkler fun. Guest animals will find their way into our weeks so the children can have the experience of caring for these special friends.
Students in every age group will need to bring:
Snack, lunch, water bottle
Sturdy walking shoes
Change of clothes (for ages 3 - 10)
Full day camp runs from 9:00am - 3:00pm
Half-day option from 9:00am - 12:00pm (for Early Childhood Summer Camp only)
Pre-registered morning care and after care are available for an additional fee.
Morning Care - 7:30am - 9:00am
After Care - 3:00pm - 6:00pm

Early Childhood Summer Camp Themes:
Fairies: Fairy stories and songs, fairy house making, create fairy wands and crowns
Gnomes: Gnome stories and songs, sew a felt gnome hat, make a felt gnome
Gardening/farm to table: trip to Pitney meadows, prepare a meal with what they picked, planting seeds, tending raised beds at school, pressed flowers
Water: water games, trip to the creek on Spring Run, walks to the springs, water play - funnels/tubes/sprinklers, bubbles
Buildings: blocks, building with things found in nature, popsicle sticks, building forts
Animals: taking care of animals, animal visits, animal tracks, animal houses, making a bird feeder, etc
Imaginative Play: capes, hats, silks, fabrics for play, building materials, skit and story
Flower Week: Planting, edible flowers, flower dying, identifying, art with flowers
