Thank you for your interest in the Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs!

Choosing a school for your child is an important and thoughtful decision, and our admissions office is here to provide parents with a full understanding and appreciation of our school and Waldorf education. After reviewing information about the school and meeting with the Admissions Coordinator for an introduction, the following steps are involved in making the transition to our school:

1    Application and parent questionnaire completed and submitted. We accept applications throughout the year.

2    Signed records release form submitted for students entering kindergarten through grade 12.

3    Parent(s) and child meet with two teachers for an in-depth discussion of the school’s program and your child’s educational background.

4    Prospective student may be invited to spend one to three days with the class.

5    Families are notified by mail regarding the status their application within 10 business days following the interview.

6    The final step, which must be completed before your child may begin attending class, is to meet with the Admissions Director and/or Business Manager to complete the enrollment packet (emergency card, health registration form, etc.), the tuition contract, make an initial payment and finalize your financial arrangements with the school.

As part of the 11th grade curriculum, our juniors research a professional field of their choice during a significant portion of the year. Their research includes exploring their own strengths and interests, interviewing professionals in their chosen field, and securing and completing their internship.

Come and hear what they learned from their varied experiences!
