Substitute Teachers

 

Have you ever thought about being a substitute teacher? This is your year! We are looking for people interested in being on-call to step into classrooms to follow a lesson plan or to help hold the space while a teacher Zooms in to teach remotely. We will need substitution in a variety of situations this year and we're looking to grow our list of subs.

Part-time Art Teacher

The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs is looking for a part-time art teacher. Teaching will be in the middle and high school classes. Classes that need teaching might include: color theory, black and white, figure drawing, portraiture and clay modeling. Our preferred candidate would have Waldorf training and experience working with middle and high school students.

Early Childhood Assistants 
The school is seeking Early Childhood Assistants for the 2020-2021 school year.   The positions range from two to five mornings per week. Familiarity with Waldorf education in general and our programs in particular is a plus.

Life-Science High School Teacher

The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs is looking for a life-science high school teacher for the 2020-2021 school year.  Possible classes include the following main lesson blocks 8th/9th Anatomy and Physiology, 9th/10th Earth Science (Meteorology and Hydrology), 10th Embryology and Cell Biology, 11th Botany, and 12th Zoology.

The Waldorf School provides students with a rich curriculum approached imaginatively and experientially. Our preferred candidate would have Waldorf training and experience working with high school students.
