Playgroups
Caregiver-child sessions for ages 9 months to 3½. A warm introduction to Waldorf education for your family.
Our playgroups are designed for children 9 months to 3½ years old and their caregivers. Grounded in the philosophies of early childhood pioneers Emmi Pickler and Magda Gerber, each session emphasizes respectful caregiving in a nurturing environment.
What to Expect
Each 90-minute session includes:
- Free play indoors and outdoors
- Snack time with a nutritious, provided snack
- Circle time with songs and lap games
- Caregiver participation in observation and discussions about child development, parenting, and Waldorf education
- Developmental focus on rhythm, routine, sleep, self-initiated play, and social development
