Playgroups

Caregiver-child sessions for ages 9-36 months. A warm introduction to Waldorf education for your family.

Our playgroups are designed for children aged 9-36 months and their caregivers. Grounded in the philosophies of early childhood pioneers Emmi Pickler and Magda Gerber, each session emphasizes respectful caregiving in a nurturing environment.

What to Expect

Each session includes:

  • Free play indoors or outdoors
  • Snack time with a nutritious, provided snack
  • Circle time with songs and lap games
  • Caregiver participation in observation and discussions about child development, parenting, and Waldorf education
  • Developmental focus on rhythm, routine, sleep, self-initiated play, and social development
