In December, Miss Tamara gifted each of us a Paperwhite Narcissus. They were just bulbs then, tucked into a mason jar with pebbles, hugs, and a bit of water. This is how mine looks now; It reminds me of hope - and how that single miracle can spring up and out from nothing, turning itself into something quite beautiful in the middle of winter.
